Platform fteval

The mission of the Platform Research & Technology Policy Evaluation is to encourage more, better and more transparent evaluations for an optimal strategic planning of RTD policy in Austria and to develop a culture of evaluation together with decision-makers in the field of Austrian technology and research policy.

Founded in 1996 as an informal cooperation, the Platform Research & Technology Policy Evaluation aims at presenting approaches and methods of evaluation, discussing the current evaluation practice on an international level and thus contributing to the development of a culture of evaluation in Austria. Since
2006, the Platform is an association under Austrian Company Law.
