Organisation
The WWTF is run by the following bodies: Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Office and Auditor.
Board of Directors

President of the WWTF
The six-member Board of Directors is the decision-making body of WWTF. The main tasks of the Board of Directors are to define the overall strategy, to lay down the funding guidelines, to adopt thematic programmes, to decide on approval of applications for funding and to settle important organisational issues.
Advisory Board

Chairman of the Advisory Board
The Advisory Board’s brief chiefly comprises advising the Board of Directors on relevant issues and ensuring quality of the process of reviewing all applications by external experts.
Office

Managing Director
The Office is charged with the Fund’s ongoing management. Its responsibilities include communication with relevant players from science, business and administration, as well as with applicants for funding, and efforts to harmonise the WWTF’s work with that of other funding tools. Specifically, the Office coordinates the WWTF’s funding instruments, activities that span the preparation of calls, acceptance of project applications, organising their assessment, and the handling of approved projects together with their controlling and evaluation jointly with external experts.
Auditor
The Auditor’s remit covers auditing and internal financial control.
